Very busy weekend!

I played in my first @GCCLCollegeBB game for the @MalibuMarlins, and threw out the first runner who tried to steal on me (📽️).

I was also selected to participate in the @TylerSkaggs45 Senior All Star Game this Saturday, June 13th at 10:00 AM at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Having grown up playing at @NVLL90066 and taking swings in the Tyler Skaggs Batting Cages, I am truly honored and grateful for this opportunity.

So close.

The season for @VeniceBaseball ended yesterday in the @CIFLACS Division 1 Semifinals. We lost 2-0, and I had our only hit of the game, breaking up the no-hitter with two outs in the 7th (for the second time this year).

We were only one game away from returning to Dodger Stadium. This one hurts, because it was my last high school game.

I am going to miss sharing the field with my teammates, both past and present.

I was fortunate to be on Varsity for 3 years, and to win the Western League all 3 years. We were able to play deep into the playoffs both years I was a starter, and I hope my teammates who will be there next year can keep that tradition going.

It's fitting that I got a hit in my last high school AB, because I picked up a hit (and my first HS RBI) in my first ever AB 4 years ago. So, as I finish my high school posts, here are videos of my first and last HS base hits.

Last weekend of the regular season for @VeniceBaseball, and we were able to put up 3 wins this week, including 2 league wins (to go 10-0 in league) and a 10-2 victory today! Went 2-4 today with a triple, run, and 4 RBI, and had 7 RBI on the week.

Missed a couple of games due to minor injury, but bounced back quickly and had a pretty good weekend playing again for @VeniceBaseball.

2-6, 2B, 2 BB, SB, RBI, 2 R

Was hitting the ball hard, and had a couple of deep fly ball outs before breaking out with a couple of knocks.

Got my first OF assist of the year on a 9-3-2 relay from the RF fence to get a runner at home and preserve a 1-run game.

We went 1-1 for the weekend, losing a heartbreaker in extras, and coming back from a 5-0 deficit to win 7-5.
