The rule is that the obvious action has to clearly impact on the ability of an opponent to play the ball. Donnarumma saw the ball all the way through - even without Robertson ducking - and just couldn’t get there. The fullback’s movement didn’t change anything.

I’m in absolute disbelief at this horrific news. This should have been the happiest summer of his life. It’s difficult to comprehend why this all happened. But I think it’s best to focus on the fact that we were able to witness and enjoy the man and footballer that was Diogo Jota
