This is intellectual dishonesty, commenting on issue X and not on issue Y does not mean issue X is any less true or worth discussing. Both can be true at once and equally valid.

If that were the case, I could say that none of your concerns are legitimate because you don’t address every issue that goes on in the world which would be a ridiculous position to hold.
