Very proud of this rainbow charizard I made for lil PJ. Happy birthday! And if anyone wants to buy this or any of my other drawings as a 5x7 print I might have that option available soon? Stay tuned. #rainbowcharizard#pokemon#digitalart#canvasprints #… https://t.co/hXIEjTAX6s
Davy got me a ghibli art book and the first page is this watercolour drawing so I thought I'd recreate it and try out a new shading technique! #digitalart#myneighbortotoro#studioghibli#samsungzfold3 https://t.co/9yIcV9m9P8
@tonestirade There's a growing up point past that, that I hope he and everyone else is at now. If I could start making that journey at 17, they should be fully capable of changing too. I'm obviously still on that journey, just going at my own pace lol
@tonestirade And it's the same behavior that happens in school if I'm honest. And it escalates to friend groups and the workplace. We all just get bullied and then learn to be bullies. Just some people do it at different ages.
@tonestirade so, a baby or not, I started only surrounding myself with people that don't have to constantly attack you to feel good.
I know I was young but to be made fun of at every turn unless I was going along with it was stressful for a 17 year old that was fresh out of an abusive home.
@tonestirade They would always make fun of my grandma and I whenever Spider-Man or costumes would be involved and they obvs didn't make sure I was ok with it, they instead hit the pedal even harder when I wasn't responding well to it.
@AsianLammy But if you make yourself think about weighing the stimulation vs the effort, maybe you won't get up and "suddenly" remember you're tired. Also yawning+big stretch as much as I can to kinda get the tired gears turning.
@AsianLammy Oh man I get that all the time. I tried having an ambient sound video playing that's super long and not too stimulating, and have my videos not on auto play so they don't continue. The dopamine hits different when you don't have to move to keep it going
@bdunkelman Maybe because they want you to suffer 👀 or stay "not a customer" for as long as possible?
Us vs Them mentality that being constantly customer facing might do to you (myself included sometimes 😭) and/or restaurant folk just have so much going on that they make dumb decisions? 🤷
