The narrative about CFP bye teams losing is entirely flawed. 2 bye teams last year were low-ranked but highly seeded due to the format, making Oregon play a ridiculously-seeded OSU team, which adversely affected another loss in the discussion. Making quarters home games = fixed.
@BudElliott3 Tech D looking like it truly belongs, but their O looks like a fraud. And to your point, Bud, unless the O gets on track, fatigue is undefeated, and it’ll hunt down the DL in the second half. But it’s been an awesome 6 opening quarters of the quarter finals. LFG. 🤘
@downblock68 Your seniors deserve to play Friday night. Ours do too. Neither team has much prep time, but we’d be willing to drive up and play football. Beats not playing for 2.5 weeks, waiting for Thanksgiving.
@WHathletics As adults, we all relate to wishing we could go back & play just ONE MORE game with our friends we grew up with. It’s not a small deal to see these seniors robbed of a game. Opt out teams need to consider that for their SRs. The next “meaningless” football game will be the first.
Anyone want to play a football game Friday night? We all relate to wishing we could go back and play just ONE MORE game with our friends we grew up with. I don’t know why anyone would want to rob their seniors of that, but we don’t. Contact our AD if you want 1 more for your SRs.
An unfortunate problem with the MIAA opt out option in the football playoffs is that when you have an odd amount of teams left, someone is left without a game. This morning at the matchup meeting, that one school, selected from a random draw, is Marshfield. They have no game this week unless 1) one of the teams that opted out agrees to play 2) a team from Rhode Island or NH agrees to play or 3) an ISL school agrees to play. If any AD from any of these schools see this and want a game please reach out to Marshfield AD Billy Battis asap. @GORAMSathletics @BostonHeraldHS @mattyfeld612@ChrisMcDaniel88@BGlobeSports
@RayGQue Arch has 2 years to figure it all out. Anyone who thought he was going in the draft after a Mitchell Trubisky number of starts didn’t pay attention to his family history.
I just watched the two-part 30 For 30, “The American Gladiators Documentary” on Hulu. It’s so brilliant. It starts as one thing and becomes another. It’s like “Exit Through the Gift Shop” except instead of Banksy, it’s a combat sports tv show.

(Not a copyright issue with Barstool, because it’s so well known, and you’re satirizing it to make it your own. Your lawyer will confirm.)
@GoodGameBro Blaring the Virginia Tech entrance at an obnoxious volume on the Sonos that will get my wife yelling at me when I disrupt her work call in our home office.
@ABC2020@DavidMuir@ABC@hulu I usually appreciate @ABC2020, but this felt like an Othram commercial pretending to be journalism. I kept thinking, “They can’t possibly mention the name Othram again in this episode,” but they kept doing it. This is a giant product placement dressing up as news for Halloween.🤦🏻♂️
