@AaronRedwolf513@spides99@MedievalScholar Not Napoleonic, its a British 1827 Pattern Naval Officer's Sword, retailed by John Batten, 47 Fore St., Devonport. And the other sabre is a Modern Indian Tourist Souvenir made in the 1980s, not 1880s

@DiariesEmpire@OdballsS it just looks like damage to the portrait that makes it look longer. As to the guard, don't see why it wouldn't be a half-basket, symmetrical s-bars are rare enough and you would probably able to see the other. If it was a woven guard on the other hand...
