Many thanks to everyone who supported last night's @theparkmains careers event. It was our biggest yet - with over 40 employers represented - and hundreds of attendees. It was also lovely to see many of our former pupils return to represent the companies that they now work for

Some of our @theparkmains young people in S3 travelled to the Science Centre to take part in a Engineering workshop with BAE Systems on Friday. We practiced fabrication and pipework skills as well as learning more about apprenticeships and the Engineering sector as a whole 🔧🪛

A group of our @theparkmains young people from S2 visited @DYWWEST today where we were able to talk many employers about careers in STEM as well as engaging in lots of interactive activities

For our last event of the week we welcomed former pupils Kayla & Rachel back to @theparkmains to speak about their experiences undertaking a Modern Apprenticeship in Childcare with Carli's Kindergarten (as well as teaching us how to make some homemade playdough...) Lots of fun!

Last day of Scottish Careers Week and we welcomed to @theparkmains Laura from Pam OH Solutions who inspired our young people to consider careers within the healthcare sector, including nursing and occupational therapy. Thank you! 🩺💊

Scottish Careers Week continued today with a visit to @theparkmains from @FlemingBuilds who are involved in the new satellite health facility at Dargavel. They gave our young people a great overview of jobs in architecture, civil engineering and buildings services engineering 👏
