#Ceuta: Dit is waarom we elke vorm van massale regularisatie moeten weigeren, zowel op basis van collectieve als individuele criteria.

De beelden van duizenden migranten die in Spanje aankomen, zijn geen toeval. Uiteraard speelt er een politiek machtsspel tussen twee landen. Het is geen toeval dat al deze mensen op hetzelfde moment aan de grens zijn aangekomen.

Maar we mogen de enorme verantwoordelijkheid van Spaans premier Pedro Sánchez en zijn socialistische regering niet vergeten. Met een massale regularisatieprocedure toont Spanje perfect wat een “aanzuigeffect” is. Hoe toegeeflijker een land omgaat met migratie, hoe groter de illegale migratie zal zijn.
Tussen 16 april en 30 juni van dit jaar kreeg Spanje meer dan één miljoen regularisatieaanvragen. Dat is waanzinnig en onverantwoord.

Criminele organisaties van mensensmokkelaars en migranten hebben Spanje daardoor uitgekozen als toegangspoort tot Europa.
Sánchez brengt zo heel Europa in gevaar, want we weten dat illegale migratie vandaag een makkelijke bron van goedkope werkkracht is voor zware criminaliteit, zoals de drugshandel. Ik herinner eraan dat 43% van onze gedetineerden geen Belgische nationaliteit heeft, en dat het merendeel van hen illegaal in ons land verblijft.

Het omgekeerde zien we in Denemarken. Daar voert de overheid al tien jaar een strenger migratiebeleid met zwaardere voorwaarden voor opvang, en dat levert indrukwekkende cijfers op:
- Het aantal asielaanvragen is sterk gedaald. Tussen 2014 en 2019 daalde het totale aantal aanvragen met 82%, van 14.792 naar 2.716.
- Er is ook een duidelijke daling van het aantal migranten buiten de asielaanvragen. In dezelfde periode (2014-2019) daalde het totale aantal migranten van 49.039 naar 42.268, een afname met 14%.

Moeten we dan de toegang tot ons grondgebied volledig sluiten? Zeker niet. Gerichte, gekozen migratie zal nodig zijn om het hoofd te bieden aan de vergrijzing. We moeten ook onze humanitaire plicht blijven opnemen.
Maar elke staat blijft in de eerste plaats verantwoordelijk voor zijn eigen bevolking. Het is niet de schuld van Europa dat er in ongeveer 150 landen ter wereld slechtere levensomstandigheden zijn dan bij ons.
We moeten dus ons rechtvaardig deel opnemen, maar niet alle miserie van de wereld dragen.

Daarom is een verstrenging van ons migratiebeleid noodzakelijk, en moet dat opnieuw worden aangescherpt, naar het voorbeeld van de Scandinavische landen.
Op korte termijn vraagt de MR gerichte controles voor personen die uit Spanje komen, met een gedeeltelijke schorsing van Spanje binnen de Schengenzone voor wat het vrije verkeer van personen betreft. De incompetentie van de regering-Sánchez mag Europa niet meesleuren in haar val.
Ik sta er volledig achter dat ik niet wil dat mensen in een illegale situatie zich komen aansluiten bij wie bijvoorbeeld rond onze stations verblijft. België telt vandaag al 150.000 mensen zonder wettig verblijf.

Tot slot: de situatie van vrouwen, kinderen en gezinnen is niet vergelijkbaar met die van jonge alleenstaande mannen. Maar bij deze massale instroom zien we dat het niet de gezinnen zijn die in de meerderheid zijn.
Onze solidariteit moet blijven bestaan, maar mag er nooit toe leiden dat we onze plicht opgeven om onze sociale samenhang, én de belangen van ons land en zijn inwoners, te beschermen.

I want to be really clear with my words here, as I have done since the day I launched Restore Britain as a national political party.

Islam’s influence over our way of life is far too large, far too powerful, far too much.

I visited streets in Greater Manchester where the local British population have been replaced, there is no other word for it - replaced. We were almost chased out.

Why has that been allowed to happen?

Go and watch the vote count for those areas.

Stacks and stacks and stacks of Labour votes. A mountain of them. They have imported a voter base, and continue to do so.

In the British areas across Greater Manchester, Restore Britain and Reform competed in the election - both winning thousands and thousands of votes.

More Muslim areas? Both parties got battered, mainly on the postal votes.

You can all draw your own conclusions there. I know I have…

With current birthrates, and levels of mass immigration, the Muslim population will grow and grow and grow.

It is a demographic inevitability, unless we change course VERY soon.

End mass immigration from Islamic countries. Ban the burqa, halal slaughter, cousin marriage. If a mosque is promoting hate, shut it down. Remove the foreign/dual nationals responsible. End mass dominating Islamic public prayer. Deport foreigners incapable of speaking English, refusing to work, living in social housing.

Brutally remove the cancer of Islamism.

That is what Restore Britain will do.

I am not going to sit back and watch Britain become an Islamic country.

And make no mistake - that is what we are hurtling towards.

Those wards in Greater Manchester, stacking the Muslim vote? They will turn into entire cities, counties, the entire nation.

Britain is still a Christian country, with Christian values and Christian traditions. Just.

I will promise you this.

Restore Britain will use every democratic tool available to us in order to ensure it stays that way.

To the Americans:

I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States.

And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness:

You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence.

This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns.

Success is equated with exploitation.
Ambition is looked upon with contempt.

This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom.

But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated.

This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet.

And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America:

Thank God for the United States.

Thank God for the wisdom of its founders.
Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man.
Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners.

Long may your admirable country dominate the world.
