@AlanJacoby No such thing as wining AI.
AI will be fully disbursed.
China‘s actions in open source only make it happen faster.
Everyone is happy about it except people who bet the farm on data centres
@Schweino68 If 5000 is not a good number, what is. Good number? 10,000? Critical Thinker?
Or does it have to be 16,000, one for every Starbucks?
1 million data centers will not be enough to help you think right.
@ianbremmer At this point, citing China to make any argument almost just turns people off
Bot farms are pay-per-click ops that account for 20% of social traffic. Likely some anti-data-center activists hired a Chinese-owned bot farm, and they are apparently money-strapped-only 200 accounts.
@jimcramer The data centre debate is fake.
Nobody is against data centres, but not in my backyard.
And companies will not build them in your backyard - expensive population centres.
There are so many empty cold lands.
What’s the debate?
@GBC_Press Indians are guided by a framework of moral relativism; they generally lack ethical constraints or sense of shame, so they can act solely in the pursuit of self-interest.
@NikkeiAsia IIt’s sad that Nikki has degraded itself to a gutter level requiring a community note!
It should NOT matter, but the glacial broke on the Nepal side jammed a river bordering Nepal and China in seconds
This malicious post has been reported to X.
@zerohedge Very likely;
Instead of these bot trying to influence anti-data center movements, actually these bots were paid by anti-data center groups.
That fits my understanding of these pay-per-click businesses. Their biggest customers are fraud, porn and MAGA conspiracists
@JBlunt1018 20 white programmers wrote Microsoft Windows, which remains largely unchanged
Now 300,000 staff in MSFT just fake working & live off Windows
Worse in corporate IT depts: 90% staff just shuffle papers, play politics & hire consultants who fake work
Need good people not more ppl
@dyw1968316 During Xi's 14 years rule, China experienced major declines in economy, freedom, and international relations.
China will recover as it always did in history, but the breakdown of Taiwan relationship is almost irreversible.
Truly sad.
@NBCNews Does an agreement concluded with an unconstitutionally established regime under foreign control possess binding legal validity under international law?
