Also don't support student loan bail outs- and 2% is laughable. Everyone that pays for college without loans will decide to get a loan instead. Why would you take your money out of where it's making interest higher than 2% ??

What needs to happen is universities need to back the loans. Immediately there would be less students accepted into the programs - they have enormous endowments- if their degrees are worth what they are charging the. They should have no problem putting their money up!

A Hoosier father pleads for your help finding a stolen backpack that is beyond meaningful to him.

2AM Thursday morning in the Southern Plaza area specifically Meridian and Sumner someone stole a backpack from a truck in the driveway of Aaron Norris

The backpack was a gift from Aaron's two sons 5 years ago for Father's Day. It was the last Father's Day Aaron spent with his oldest son Austin James "AJ" Norris. AJ was killed in a car crash at the age of 16 a few months later in the Center Grove area.

Aaron told me, "For this reason that bag holds a very special place in my heart. I’m trying to do anything I can to put the word out and possibly recover this bag. I don’t care about the valuables inside as they can easily be replaced but that last gift from my boys cannot. I have attached a picture of what the bag looked like for reference. If you have the time to help in any way possible i would greatly appreciate it."

Not only does Noblesville School Board have in their Mission Statement and are allowing DEI materials and subject matter in classrooms as well as celebrating who someone is having sex with- (which never should be a topic for Educators (Indoctrinators) ) They allowed Student Walk-outs that happened during school hours using SRO officers that Noblesville pays for:
1. Aren't SRO assigned for the students safety while at the school buildings?
2.What would have happened if during the pathetic Anti- NICE walkout an attack happened at the schools- when the SRO officers were assisting with the Protest? Leaving those who chose NOT to protest vulnerable !!

I have been saying for 10 years the H1B visa scam is nuts. I know someone very involved in the tech scenes in Indy, CA, and WA- they can hire 4 India based engineers for the price of 1 American - which sounds like a good deal- except the companies aren't getting 4 competent engineers- they are getting cheap talent that a lot of times an American has to stop what they are developing and fix and secure the product from Hackers! So they take jobs away from Americans and their product suffers from it. It's one of those things- that looks good on paper but in practice falls on its face. They know the quality isn't there. The other thing is since so much of tech has gone remote- trying to communicate with these individuals is difficult at best. Out of a team there is 50%+ foreigners- either living in US on H1B Visa status or Living in India. This isn't new but the US needs to start employing Americans. It is a matter of national security. We are talking all the Big Ones- Salesforce, Apple, Goggle, Microsoft think about what those companies have access to!

Obviously- this officer - I don't care what color he is just showed this child with autism that the people dressed in blue with the law enforcement insignia are his friends- and will help me when I need it. That is 1000% the best outcome to this situation! He kept the child calm- kept the situation in a positive moving direction. If you have never had the experience of raising and loving a child with autism and the debilitating fear of them slipping out of your sight knowing they have no way to communicate to others who they are, that they are lost, and where they live than just keep your mouth shut. Just because he in non-verbal doesn't mean he can't learn by association. He knew how to ring up the toy. He wasn't combative, or threatening in any way. Have children while you can- you won't regret it! Ericka explains why perfectly! Our personal experience of having 3 boys quickly and then waiting for things to settle down with our 2 that had special needs pushed us into dr after dr and specialist after specialist's waiting rooms- LARGE amounts of $'s and many many losses, almost costing me my life! In the end it wasn't in God's plan for us to grow our family.

This @nytimes op-ed completely misses the point on the purpose of marriage and children and completely misrepresents my views in the process. The entire article is laced with viewing family through the lens of money and career as if those things bring fulfillment and purpose. When you’re on your death bed, your money and your career won’t be whispering in your ear “I love you” as you take your last breath. The material goods and fortune of this world mean nothing when we go to our eternal resting place.

The author also conveniently leaves out the part of my Hillsdale commencement speech where I said “marry young, not rushed, but young.”

We serve a God of order and when you live a life ordered there’s a double portion of grace. Meaning marriage first, then kids, and everything else. Timing matters because life is shorter than you might think, and you never know what could happen. The point is, don’t put it off. Don’t rush it or force it if it’s not right, but don’t put it off.

I say this from a place of personal reflection. My marriage with Charlie and our babies are the biggest blessings of my life. I was 32 when I married Charlie, which in my mind is neither young to start a family or old. You just run up against statistics at that point and it just so happened to be the Lord’s timing and He still blessed us with two beautiful children. But I wish we met and were able to start our life and family together much sooner.

There is no such thing as perfect timing to have kids. Financial struggles are a part of life, but the problem is a lot of Americans are self-surviving, not self-sacrificing, and they expect to live a very distinct lifestyle based on what they see online. When Charlie encouraged young people to have more kids than they can afford, he wasn’t saying to recklessly bring a child into this world and have them on welfare. He was saying children aren’t a luxury item to have once you meet a certain tax bracket threshold. You don’t need a mansion in order to build a family.

It’s easy when you’re young to think that you have all the time in the world, but it’s a hard fact of life and science that that’s simply not the case. If you've met your person and you’re checking off boxes based on societal expectations of dating for a couple years, then a long engagement, then adjusting to married life before having children, you’re wasting valuable time. Getting pregnant in your late 30s and 40s is usually a lot harder than in your late 20s. Not always, but it’s a hard reality for many couples.

The inverted priorities of our current culture encourages women to believe that getting married and having children are weights on an otherwise rich and carefree existence. And yet, young Americans have never felt less happy or carefree. Children are not an obstacle, they're a gift from the Lord. They give life so much more meaning than you could ever imagine. When we stop looking at marriage and children as barriers to a happy life, maybe then there’ll be progress in this country.
