Throughout December of 2022, I was fighting for my life. I went blind in one eye on the 3rd of Dec. 2022 & on the 5th, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Today I stand here before you to share my story. It has been a long road to recovery but each day is better than the last.
You started your patient advocacy for people living with HIV & later included CANCER PATIENTS. You founded a national coalition for cancer awareness in communities. You wanted a better Nigeria, but 🇳🇬 road took you away.
Com. Elijah Elijah, you are our legend. Rest in power.
Hello dear Cancer CEOs and UICC members worldwide. This is a reminder that the UICC voting platform will be opened by midnight today till 2pm Nigerian time. I encourage you all to cast your vote for our very own Dr. Zainab Bagudu @DrZSB .
Yesterday in Lagos, I had brunch with CEOS of Cancer focused organizations in the region. Many issues came up which we can address collectively. Underlying most is the need for better access to funding. Grateful for your time and commit to keep the interaction up.#Nigeria#team
