One thing i have realized with women who often say "you're not broke" is they perceive you're not broke and you're just saying it as cruise which is why they try to reject it for you because they can't imagine themselves with a broke man.

I have chatted with a couple of women and when I tell them I don't have money, they all say the same thing

"You're not broke"
