Eagle Fora Declares for Oguta/Ohaji-Egbema/Oru West House of Representatives Seat Under ZLP, Pledges Effective Representation

Following the publication of the particulars of candidates for the 2027 Presidential and National Assembly elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Nnanyereugo Augustine Nnanna, popularly known as Eagle Fora, has officially declared his candidacy for the House of Representatives to represent the Oguta/Ohaji-Egbema/Oru West Federal Constituency under the platform of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).

A native of Akabor in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State, Nnanyereugo expressed profound gratitude to the leadership and members of the Zenith Labour Party for entrusting him with the party's ticket. He described the opportunity as a call to selfless service and pledged to provide transparent, accountable, and people-oriented representation for the constituents.

Speaking shortly after the announcement, the ZLP House of Representatives candidate said his aspiration is driven by a desire to deliver purposeful leadership that reflects the needs and aspirations of the people of Oguta, Ohaji-Egbema, and Oru West.

According to him, his legislative agenda will focus on promoting digital innovation, improving access to quality healthcare and education, strengthening internal security, preserving the rich cultural heritage of the constituency, empowering young people, and advancing sustainable socio-economic development.

Nnanyereugo stressed that the people of the constituency deserve responsive and accessible leadership that listens to their concerns, takes decisive action, and delivers measurable results. He pledged to champion policies that promote equity, expand economic opportunities for youths and women, improve infrastructure, and attract meaningful federal projects to the constituency.

Widely recognized as a humanitarian, entrepreneur, and public policy advocate, Nnanyereugo said he is committed to working collaboratively with stakeholders across the constituency to ensure inclusive development and improved quality of life for all residents.

His declaration marks the beginning of what is expected to be a closely watched contest for the Oguta/Ohaji-Egbema/Oru West Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections.
