Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire has announced a landmark agreement to harmonise cocoa producer prices.
The decision, reached at a summit between Presidents Mahama and Ouattara, aims to improve farmer incomes, reduce cross-border smuggling, and strengthen cooperation between the world's two largest cocoa producers.

Rwanda’s 🇷🇼 President Paul Kagame has urged African countries to reduce aviation taxes, fees, and travel barriers, saying that high costs and restrictive rules are limiting the continent’s economic growth.
Addressing the African Air Transport Convention in Togo, he noted that expensive flights are constraining trade, tourism, and business development.
Kagame further called for quicker rollout of the Single African Air Transport Market and smoother movement of people and goods, reinforcing his ongoing advocacy for improved regional integration across Africa.
