@mrjb260191@fandompulse I will say it again, you are reading way too much into it. I don't care what the actors say. It's odd to me when folks get triggered by such things. Sorry but I just don't get this reaction. How about you just enjoy the movie as you see it and think what you like. :)
@The_LFB@ThomasConnorsJr He likened it to Barbie dude so lets not pretend he didn't mean woke. As for 'breaking the lore'. I would have preferred the secret identity angle but what they ended up doing with that I thought was fun and doesn't ruin the movie at all. Adam was not always in the lore just FYI.
@mrjb260191@fandompulse You got hung up on the actor using the word "toxic" which triggered a very negative reaction. I didn't invent the english langauge. Dominating others with your power is toxic and this is what Skeletor does. She was simply referring to that. You are reading too much in it.
@mrjb260191@fandompulse Core Tenants of Toxic masculinity - No.3 Dominance and Power: The pressure to achieve dominance—socially, financially, or physically—and to assert control over others. You really should read more lest you look foolish in public.
@The_LFB@ThomasConnorsJr You mean the secret that the equally buff guy that looks exactly the same as the champion only with less tan? That amazing not all silly secret meant for 10 year olds after school?? This makes it 'woke' does it?!! 😆😆You are not getting it and he is defo not getting it.
@heelvsbabyface It's actually getting funny just how off base the haters are. Like they really didn't get it. Some are really struggling to distinguish parody from reverence.
@The_LFB@ThomasConnorsJr Nope. He's soo off base and upset its actually funny. Its a real stretch saying it's "woke". Ya gotta wonder how this guy digested the 80's cartoon with all the morals and directions on how to be a good person. Perhaps that offened his ever so delicate sensibilities too then?!
@RollingStone Huh, I think I missed this mansplaining. Where exactly was that? I'll wait. The movie rocks and it's joyful. Ya gotta be one seriously miserable ass individual to not enjoy this.
@SFWsalesgirl@DiscussingFilm Well your bio does say "professional shit poster" so well done staying true to that. It's a wonderful movie but it's not made for folks who don't like joy or nice things. Fans overwhelmingly love it and understood what it was doing. You didn't.
