One of London’s great overlooked façades — 26 Kensington Gore, built in 1874–75 as the National Training School for Music. Designed by H. H. Cole, with extraordinary coloured sgraffito decoration by F. W. Moody. Later home to the Royal College of Organists. A South Kensington gem
Fulham Rd could now be closed for 40–48 Chelsea men’s & women’s matchdays a year — around 200 hours. What does this cost the Met, RBKC, local businesses & residents, and how much does CFC contribute? With more games at Stamford Bridge, surely worth asking. @RBKC@metpoliceuk
@Shedintears@thechelskikid@RBKC@metpoliceuk@MetPolice the comment was an excellent illustration of how you are conducting yourself....I personally love the terraces and the game...and spent much of my life on them and playing it...there is a way say your point without getting aggy
@thechelskikid@Shedintears@RBKC@metpoliceuk@MetPolice dear oh dear, the local community benefits 'x' from CFC. Match days cost 'x' to local authorities, extra match days cost 'x' more to local authorities, so, where is that extra money coming from....maybe from CFC?? You tell me? that's my point!!!
@Shedintears@thechelskikid@RBKC@metpoliceuk@MetPolice there you go...instead of all of the angry talk, why not suggest 'why don't you send emails or a local councillor or do FOI request...what is a FOI request...I might go down that route...there you go...thats how 'x' should work...positive... bring the heat down a little....
@Shedintears@thechelskikid@RBKC@metpoliceuk council & police have to budget so, there has to be an algorithm that should be able to recognise 'benefits' against costs...that is my question..I'm asking for that algorithm says...I'm not arguing 'benefits' or CFC's obvious value to the community
@Shedintears@brianstephens23@RBKC@metpoliceuk@LBHF read the posts...at no time have I suggested Stamford Bridge is in RBKC...perhaps read the content and you might understand my question....could you do that? I'd be interested in your opinion.
@thechelskikid@Shedintears@brianstephens23@RBKC@metpoliceuk@LBHF I'll start again, more match days,a fact, equals more detours, traffic delays, policing, organisation equals increased cost to @rbkc & @metpolice where the extra 'money' will come from. I'm not saying CFC is not pulling it's weight, I'm asking the question...still unanswered
@thechelskikid@Shedintears@brianstephens23@RBKC@metpoliceuk@LBHF Not purely Earl’s Court, sometimes Stamford Bridge etc, can’t use ‘apostrophes’ in X account titles… need I explain… or are just being unreasonably aggressive, no one is knocking Chelski mate
@thechelskikid@Shedintears@RBKC@metpoliceuk I am making a valid point. A detour on a major route will cause disruption to traffic, this is not 'moan' but a fact. Fixing a pot hole causes traffic delays, I'm not 'moaning' but asking an intelligent question. There is no need for aggression, we're adults having a conversation
@thechelskikid@Shedintears@RBKC@metpoliceuk my point exactly. I'm not talking about what good CFC does for the local community, that is not in question, closures of streets cause disruption & need policing + costs to RBKC, you've made my point exactly, so for 7k of fans, the street has to be closed for 6 hours on a Saturday
