It’s Waffle Friday! RA began by drawing pictures and writing about what toppings they’d like on their waffle. Then they made the batter & watched in awe as the waffle maker did its work! Finally it was time to add their toppings & eat their wonderful creations! @WheelersLanePri

As Health week continues, Reception have been busy baking healthy muffins. We practiced lots of skills (mixing, cutting, grating and pouring) as we made these delicious carrot and orange muffins🥕🍊🤤. Thank you @olivemagazine for the great recipe! @WheelersLanePri

What a great day at the beach. The weather was thankfully on our side! 🥳 The children enjoyed making sandcastles, paddling in the sea, eating ice cream, donkey rides and lots more. An exhausting but wonderfully memorable day! @WheelersLanePri

Our school allotment was finally ready for children! So RA visited it today armed with forks, shovels, rakes and hoes. We prepared the soil ready for planting. It was so much fun! ❤️@WheelersLanePri @WLPSAllotment

RA really enjoyed dressing up for World Book Day. We talked about our favourite books, drew pictures of our favourite characters and did a reading book scavenger hunt! At the end of the day Reception teacher performed a unique version of Little Red Riding Hood❤️ @WheelersLanePri

What an incredible day we’ve had @MtPlesSchFarm RA and RC thoroughly enjoyed learning about farm animals and their young. They also had the opportunity to feed some sheep and chickens, collect eggs and milk a pretend cow. A wonderful day out. Thank you Farmer Nicky! ❤️

Magic potions 🧪 ✨ created in RHT today! Fine motor skills, Oracy, imagination, sharing and taking turns have been developed during learning though play. ✨✨

Reception were very lucky to have a special visit from Becky the Vet from White Cross Vets. The children learnt how to look after different pets and later enjoyed a bit of of vet roleplay! ❤️@WheelersLanePri
