A competition at Julius Mkhonto was won by Mxolisi Ngwenya, a young farmer in the making. He received a Mango tree, a chance to harvest honey in Patrick Twala’s garden and to pick traditional maize when it is harvesting time.

Make Smangele Maseko, a farmer from Avontuur, proudly mentioned the seeds she received at the annual Bikita Seed Fair, in Zimbabwe. "I got three white bean seeds which I grew and multiplied. I harvested a small tin and I will continue to multiply them".
