🚨BREAKING: A highly foul smell spread across Gaza City overnight, leaving residents searching their homes and tents for its source.

Social media platforms were flooded with complaints from Palestinians reporting the same unbearable odor across large areas, from Al-Tuffah and Al-Daraj in the east to Beit Lahia in the west.

According to journalist Yousef Fares in Gaza, Israeli military aircraft dropped hundreds of bubbles carrying the foul-smelling substance across these areas, deliberately contaminating the air and spreading the odor among residential areas.

A New York Times visual investigation concluded that a U.S. weapon struck a residential building in Kuhestak, Iran, where a wedding was being held.

The Times verified videos from the scene, matched the location with satellite imagery, and analyzed photos of weapon fragments with an explosives expert, who identified them as consistent with a U.S.-used JSOW glide bomb.

The strike killed at least five people and wounded 67, according to Iranian authorities.

The Times also found that the wedding site was about 150 yards from a communications tower that was separately attacked.

The United States’ catalogue of atrocities against the nation of Iran is now complete: a residential home in Kuhestak, #Sirik, was brutally attacked tonight while families were celebrating a wedding. More than 50 innocent men, women and children were martyred or wounded.

This cruelty cannot be separated from the chain of atrocities that preceded it in #Minab, #Lamerd, Qeshm and elsewhere nor from the strikes on military targets that were dressed in deceptive justifications.

More dangerous than the bomb itself is the normalization of bombing; and more dangerous than silence is the conversion of silence into legitimacy.

Iran will respond to these savage crimes with firmness. Still, those governments and international institutions that remain silent in the face of such barbarism, or seek to justify such acts, must understand that their silence is not neutrality. When unlawful attacks and brutal crimes are whitewashed for political convenience, the line between condemning a crime and normalizing it disappears.

Those who remain silent today will not be immune to its consequences tomorrow. Turning a blind eye to injustice does not contain it; it only emboldens the perpetrators.

Children wounded in the U.S. attack on a wedding celebration in Kuhestak receive treatment at a hospital in Minab, in Iran’s Hormozgan province.

5 people were killed in the attack, including a 4-year old child, and 63 injured, including 50 women and children, according to Iranian authorities.

They even bombed us in the tents, burning us alive as we slept. Israel has committed the most hideous acts humanity has ever witnessed throughout history, proudly flaunting its crimes in full view of the world.

It is a full-fledged genocide.

This passage from Dostoevsky’s "The Brothers Karamazov" aptly describes the situation in which the U.S. system of governance & foreign policy regarding Iran and the region finds itself due to its extreme reliance on 'lies':

"The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to such a pass that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others."
The Brothers Karamazov,
Fyodor Dostoevsky

BREAKING: Israel fed the CIA a fake Iranian assassination plot against Donald Trump to manipulate U.S. foreign policy and damage Trump's growing ties with Turkey, per WaPo. CIA had "low confidence" in the intelligence.

U.S. officials believe Israel fabricated the threat to push Trump to restart the war on Iran. The alleged plot was relayed during Trump's July 8 visit to Turkey, prompting an elaborate Secret Service operation where Trump was secretly flown to Britain.

Israel's warning was not about saving Trump's life. It was about shaping U.S. policy. A former official said it "fit a broader pattern" of Israeli intelligence designed to influence presidential decision-making. Turkish officials believe the report was fabricated to derail Trump's Iran negotiations and block Turkey's F-35 acquisition.

The U.S. was played. Turkey was locked down. And Israel got what it wanted.
