Today, we remember over 8,000 Muslim men and boys who were killed 28 years ago during the genocide at Srebrenica.

The horrors of that time are embedded in the minds of so many.

36 years ago today on June 11 1987 Leicester East, Tottenham, Hackney North & Brent South elected @KeithVaz144 @HackneyAbbott Paul Boateng and Bernie Grant as Britain’s first 4 Black and Asian MPs since the end of the British Raj. Then there were 4 now 66 #historymakers
