Recent photos from our field team capture the rich wildlife of the Park's central sector: savanna elephants in Kihangiro, and hippos, waterbuck, and warthogs in Lulimbi. These animals, and countless others, depend on the daily work of Virunga's 800+ Rangers, who keep their habitats safe.⁠
