Miss Johnson and Ms. Smith class read the book The Biggest Pumpkin Ever and completed various literacy and stem activities. They measured the pumpkins. They also painted their favorite character on a pumpkin. Room 54 was full of fun and excitement @BeaufortCoSchNC
Students in the Polar Bear POD read the book โScarecrowโ by Cynthia Rylant. They worked on literacy skills such as characters, setting and retelling. Students learned new vocabulary engaged in think, pair, share. They were transformed into the Scarecrow POD. @BeaufortCoSchNC
What a fun night at Books Around the World Family Literacy Night! Students & families visited various countries to participate in activities & fill their passport. Students and Parents gained literacy knowledge they can use at home! ๐๐ @BeaufortCoSchNC

This week EES will be hosting our annual Pumpkin Festival this Thursday from 5-7 pm . Tickets for games will 50 cents and food will be available for $5.00. This is open to all members of the community and is sure to be a blast. We can't wait to see you there! ๐
The students in the Polar Bear Pod celebrated learning all 26 letters and sounds by having an Alphabet Fashion Show! Students were assigned a letter Aa-Zz and brought their fashion skills to life as they created letter vests filled with items that start with their letter.
