Team,
EMGG⦠itās been more than just a name. Itās been a home. A place where strangers became friends, friends became family, and that family fought for each otherās dreams. We built this thing from nothing no investors, no cheat codes just grit, heart, and the belief that we could create something different in the world full of fake ass communities. And for years, we did just that.
But life changes. Seasons shift. And as much as Iāve tried to fight it, weāve hit a point where continuing EMGG the way we know it isnāt possible anymore. After countless sleepless nights, after running every scenario in my head, Iāve made the hardest decision Iāve ever had to make⦠weāre shutting down operations.
This isnāt because of you. Itās not because the admins didnāt work hard enough or the community didnāt show up. You all gave everything your time, your ideas, your energy, your loyalty. Some of you poured more into this than you had to give, and Iāll never be able to thank you enough for that.
We laughed together. We stayed up way too late in voice calls. We launched events and projects against all odds. We cheered for each otherās wins and carried each other through losses. And we did it all under a banner that meant something. That means something.
But as much as it hurts, Iād rather close this chapter with pride than drag it out until it becomes a shadow of what it was. EMGG was built on passion, on fire not on autopilot. And if we canāt give it that same energy anymore, then itās time to step back and let it rest as something beautiful we built together.
To my admin team you were the backbone of this entire thing. You didnāt just āmoderateā or āmanage.ā You led. You inspired. You kept the lights on when no one was looking. Iāll carry the respect I have for you into everything I do for the rest of my life.
To the community you are the reason EMGG existed in the first place. You gave this brand its heartbeat. Whether you were here for a month or for years, you left your mark. And thatās something no shutdown can erase.
This isnāt goodbye forever not to the friendships, not to the memories, not to the lessons weāve learned here. Itās just the end of EMGG as weāve known it. We leave behind something real in a space where ārealā is rare. And no one can take that away from us.
Thank you for believing. Thank you for fighting. Thank you for making EMGG more than I ever dreamed it could be. Each and every one of you changed my life. #GRNDSZN forever.
Much love to you all,
EMGG zimm
Hung out with @Log1kz_ in Discord today for a bit and it really was nice to catch up and chat. We also set a pretty solid timeline and plan of action for the return. Just saying š„±š.
It is what it is. Get upset if you want. There's no denying how obvious it is nor has there been for quite some time. Ex is just EMGG wannabe 2.0 at this point. I know for a fact that Collin does not want that and has his own brand and vision so not sure how it got there š¤
