@HairMetalGuru@Rock101KLOL Love that album! Smoke and Mirrors on there kicks ass!! Whole album is great though. One of the guys quit and they turned into Blackwater Conspiracy.
@schneider_24708@mitchlafon Get Up is a frantic drum line and some wild guitar. Maybe my fave on that album is the title track but it’s a great album all around. I was too young to catch the great 70’s stuff live but i love all those classic bands as well as the 80’s metal stuff. Miss those days!
@schneider_24708@mitchlafon Good points and I agree. I believe for physical sales VH1 and ‘84 still sell well to younger generations (although the volume is obviously way lower than the golden years) compared to Sammy era…exception being those of us oldtimers buying Sam era remasters. I like both eras.
@schneider_24708@mitchlafon Outsold DLR solo but not DLR era VH. VHI and 1984 both sold diamond (10M +)
Sammy era:
5150 - 6x
OU812 - 4x
FUCK - 3x
Balance - 3x
So those 2 combined beat the whole Sammy era catalogue.

@HairMetalGuru Bouncer who was a mountain pulled me aside & said. I’ll let you in but so help me! I was terrified & kept my oath to no booze. Hung out in lot after show & met Derek and the band and they were super cool! Got their promo pic autographed. They were cool as shit! All bands slayed!
@HairMetalGuru@Rock101KLOL HUGE props for the Million Dollar Reload. I know they have rebranded to Blackwater Conspiracy or whatever the fuck but they were a killer band and that was a killer album!

@HairMetalGuru@dee_drums Great interview. Almost two hours and it flew by. Very cool hearing the Waysted stories and how they connected back to Danny Vaughn’s interview with you.
