What is the idea behind debt?
We borrow money from our future, so that we can increase our growth, and then we can pay back our debt. So basically debt is money, that we plan to earn in the future.
This would be the normal case.
If the Fed is printing new money, and buys government bonds from it. This means the government promises that it will pay it back with interest. From where will the government have the interest to pay back the loan with?
