School shootings, if any, used to be isolated and rare cases in the Philippines. Now, we ask where these kids are getting the guns and the sad reality is—in most cases, it was from the adults in their lives.

Isama na rin natin yung sunod sunod na stabbing incidents in schools.

These adults are failing them, introducing guns to impressionable young minds. The system of payabangan, violence, and superiority.

When we mix that with the culture of bullying and support for violence (the latter especially for the last decade), we breed kids who accept that violence is justifiable.

A great reminder once again to look at the type of society these kids spent their childhood in. And to look at the adults raising these kids.
