It was a privilege to hear from some truly passionate, driven, and compassionate leaders from the community voluntary sector in East Belfast today.
A huge thank you to @EBCDA for creating space for young people to connect, grow, and lead through their carefully designed 3-year Emerging Leaders Programme. It’s an incredible opportunity to develop alongside other emerging leaders in our community and build concrete relationships.
Today reminded me just how fortunate we are to have such dedicated and progressive individuals already leading the way in East Belfasts community voluntary sector and hear about their individual leadership journeys.
Grateful to be surrounded by such positivity, purpose, and passion.
Minister @GordonLyons1 met with representatives from Bloomfield Community Association to see their programme of activities and how dedicated staff are supporting the development of local children and the wider community. 👧🤝
We are delighted to be part of a citywide consortium designed to build community capacity in the neighbourhoods. The Community Empowerment Programme will give opportunity for groups and residents to work on a local project to enhance good relations https://t.co/0oLEXyh1I0
Minister @GordonLyons1 attended a meeting of the Community Development Network Forum (CDNF) to discuss the work of the forum and hear about the impact the network has within local communities.
