The term “booked and busy” seems to take on a new meaning with creative workers in Nigeria’s fashion industry.
In my debut @StearsBusiness story, I unpack the work environment in Nigeria’s fashion industry.

I have a maybe unpopular take:
Everyone (and this is a global thing) is being forced into becoming content creators because of access. What was made possible through hard work, talent and skillset has been overridden by people/businesses wanting visibility.
One thing the World Cup will always come through with apart from the entertaining games, is most efficiently exposing the racists in the world! Because all this because your country lost? Ahn ahn
🚨 Celeste Amarilla (Paraguayan senator), on Kylian Mbappé: "This brute hasn't even learned to write. Instead of breastmilk, he grew up sucking on coconuts, and the most educated creatures he ever heard were chimpanzees.
You should've given him the middle finger, Orlando Gill (Paraguay GK).
A colonized Cameroonian, pretending to be French, resentful, newly rich, arrogant, and ugly.
He was nervous and scared to death all game, like his whole team. They didn't even manage to score a single goal, until they got lucky with a penalty.
The only thing many of us blame the team for is not giving him a full-handed slap at the end of the game. I'm not even a football fan." @RMCsport
🤮🤮🤮
I’m sorry to say this (or not) but all these real estate companies going about shouting come and investment, putting pressure on people and that RE is a valuable investment is what has caused problems in Lagos’ urban planning. That is not the only path to financial security!
Knowing that Nigeria has ratified the CEDAW (although not domesticated) makes me wonder why they are not using it as leverage to fight for the Special Seats Bill for Women. Additionally, a good first step might be pushing for its domestication. Then the Bill maybe passed.
#PeterDinklage says he steered away from the fantasy genre after #GameOfThrones because the roles he was being offered weren’t “fully realized human beings.”
“Tyrion, for someone my size, opened people’s eyes,” he tells #KitHarington. “In that fantasy genre, most often, those characters are not really fully realized human beings. But once ‘Thrones’ ended, I was still getting fantasy things that were back to what it was before. Like, ‘Damn, I thought we were out to change things.’”

Look at the way kids play now. How cool☺️☺️
The kind of dolls I played with when I was young didn't even have hair never mind giving them a silk press! 😅

Spiritual warfare 101 - No matter how overwhelmed you “feel” inside, never show the devil. You see, the devil is NOT Omniscient, so he does not know all things. The things he knows about us are things said and spoken of us. Or the things we let out from our mouths ourselves or by our reactions and actions. So while you may be overwhelmed in your soul, the way he gets to know is from your reaction. And because he is a wicked and oppressive entity, when he knows where it hurts, he robs it in the more.
But responding in praise confounds him. This is exactly the rationale behind the idea that praise confuses the enemy. Because he can’t understand why his onslaught is not causing you to give up and give in.
So beloved saints of God, regardless how you feel right now, find a way to release your praise !
“14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.”

You are BLESSED 🙂

FGN Launches National Single Window to Cut Trade Costs and Boost Growth
The Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, today led the launch of Nigeria’s National Single Window in Lagos, a flagship reform to modernise trade, reduce costs, and improve efficiency across the economy.
The platform integrates government agencies into a single digital system, streamlining import and export processes, reducing delays, and lowering the cost of doing business.
“This is a decisive shift from complexity to coordination,” the Minister said. “It will ease trade, improve competitiveness, and support economic growth.”
For government, the system strengthens transparency, coordination, and revenue collection. For businesses, it cuts bureaucracy and accelerates access to markets.
The Minister noted that ongoing upgrades to port infrastructure will be critical to ensuring that digital gains translate into real economic impact.
The National Single Window forms part of a broader reform agenda to build a more competitive and investment ready Nigerian economy.
“This is about creating an economy that works faster, more efficiently, and in the interest of all Nigerians,” he said.
