Roy Keane says Jude Bellingham is the best midfielder in world football ahead of Vitinha, Rodri and Pedri.
Gary Neville: "Who's the best midfield player in the world right now? Who is the best?"
"We talk about Ronaldo, Messi, Kane, Mbappé, Haaland... but we never really talk about who's the best midfield player in the world."
Roy Keane: "Rodri's a different type of player."
Gary Neville: "Bruno?"
Roy Keane: "Would you put Bruno in that bracket?"
Gary Neville: "With what he's done at his club over the last five, six, seven years, the numbers he's hit are out of this world. You have to put him in the conversation."
"Pedri's another one."
Ian Wright: "I'd say Jude Bellingham."
Roy Keane: "Come on... we're talking about form, the occasions, producing the big moments."
"His work rate as well."
"Even in the games when he wasn't scoring, his work rate, hunting people down, running back..."
"A lot of attacking players come back to help out, but he's coming back because he wants to get the ball back."
Kane shoots, Bellingham goes after the rebound but the keeper doesn't spill it
Rogers shoots, Bellingham goes after the rebound, this time the keeper spills it, Bellingham scores the winner

Gabriel Clarke’s two interviews with Thomas Tuchel and Jude Bellingham were dreadful. Tuchel was very clear in his praise for England’s strength of character but he wasn’t happy with the performance. Clarke failed to understand Tuchel’s mentality comments. He then gave a misleading follow up to Bellingham which suggested to Bellingham that Tuchel was unhappy with the team. Unnecessarily disruptive and the wrong context of interviewing in two separate interviews.

Bellingham may have scored two goals and made last man tackle to deny a sure equaliser, but as a pure football fan, I’d rather he doesn’t do all of that but instead make 70 touches, 80 completed passes, and 10 spins in midfield to prove to me that he’s a pure central midfielder.
Jude Bellingham has been England’s best player at this tournament.
Every time England have needed a moment, he’s looked like the player most likely to provide it.
Goals, assists, tackles, responsibility… he’s done it all.
World class.
