Lol I de read all the takes since de laugh cos Nigerians obviously don't even grasp the scope of the problems. Dem think say life end for funny Instagram and tiktok skits that help them relax in the middle of or at the end of a busy day.
The lives lost daily due to the government's neglect of healthcare far exceeds the number of lives lost to insecurity; but because they're not aggregated, no one really understands
It was on this app that an animal who supports APC lost his son because the closest hospital to him did not have a flexible bronchoscope that costs just a little over $200 in the same period that his APC state governor was spending N500 million to sponsor Muslims in the state to hajj

This beast killed my primary school friends, six of my neighbours and he almost killed me too.
Christmas Day, 2011.
I was at St. Theresa's Catholic Church fetching water from their borehole because December is usually dry season in the North. Harmattan, dry skin and dry wells.
Our neighbours who were Catholics were already inside the church, singing and dancing. I think Father Achi was the one in charge of the parish back then and was presiding over the service.
I was with my wheelbarrow that i used in carrying water i fetched at the back of the priest's quarters when my friends saw me. They were outside buying sweets from the Hausa vendors.
We linked up for a bit. We talked. We laughed. After some time, they told me they were going inside because it was time for them to give their offerings.
I picked up my wheelbarrow and started leaving while they ran back to the church and that was when i heard the blast.
My ears immediately went deaf.
The force of the explosion pushed me to the ground. My gallons fell over and water started leaking everywhere.
I was in a trance.
I could see the smoke.
I could see people running towards the church and some out of it.
But I couldn't hear anything.
It was completely silent.
And that was when I saw them.
My friends.
Lying on the floor close to the church entrance.
The same boys I had just been laughing with a few seconds earlier.
Kalu.
John.
Ben.
Samson.
Tony.
That was when i stood up and ran home crying.
I was a child. I didn't understand terrorism. I didn't understand religious extremism. I didn't understand why somebody would want to blow up a church on Christmas Day.
That day changed something in me forever. This isn't something I read about in the news.
I was there.
And somehow, I survived.
People talk about terrorism in Nigeria using numbers.
How many people died.
How many were injured.
How many churches were attacked.
But behind every number are people with actual names.
People who had friends.
People who had families.
People who were supposed to go home that Christmas afternoon.
My mum is currently battling breast cancer (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, SBR Grade 2, Score 6), and I’m reaching out to humbly ask for your support.

WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH PUBLICITY; THIS IS NO LONGER AN OUTCRY FOR ONE.
🔗Fill this and share with everyone you know https://t.co/GmkUG3vSOl (Our immediate goal is at least 10,000 signatures on the petition).
My original outcry was about ONE experience; my own experience with MTN and the depletion of my data allocation however the responses that followed opened the door to numerous other subscribers sharing concerns about their own experiences and that changed everything.
We are no longer seeking answers only for ONE. We are seeking to properly examine these concerns and demand accountability for ALL subscribers whose experiences are supported by evidence but we cannot do this effectively without you.
We need you to help us push this everywhere you can on X, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, your communities, groups and every legitimate publicity channel available to you.
Those signatures will demonstrate the breadth of public concern and strengthen our collective call for proper investigation and accountability.
We also need as much firsthand evidence as possible. If you have experienced unusual, unexplained or disputed MTN data depletion, please submit your details and supporting evidence through the evidence form.
PLEASE NOTE: Nobody needs to pay anything on the petition page. If you see an option asking for payment, DO NOT PAY. Simply choose the option to SHARE the petition.
We are not asking anyone to make allegations they cannot support. We are asking people to speak from their own experience, provide evidence where available, and help us establish the facts.
Now, let’s come together and demand answers for ALL.
10,000 signatures.
As much evidence as possible.
As much legitimate publicity as possible.
LETS DO THIS AS 1️⃣
