🚨🚨🚨 ART OF THE DEAL: Donald Trump’s address to the Libertarian Party this evening was masterful. The room was full of loud RFK disrupters. Trump was greeted with a thunder of boos. He did not back down, but instead acknowledged and pushed through.

Trump maintained amazing poise, even a hint of enjoyment of the boos and chants from the disrupters. His speech was VERY good, with rise, crescendo and suspense built in. It was lean, but muscular and effectively delivered a lot of key points.

Trump did his best sales pitch, and showed us why he is the best at the art of the deal. He gave his resume of accomplishments, and asked for the Libertarian vote! He responded to the initial boos with a witty quip, saying they can either vote Trump, “…or you can keep your 3%.” 😂

Trump then gave the reasons and compared his first term accomplishments to show “we want the same things”. He delivered messages about the economy, avoiding Biden 2.0, draining the swamp, lowering taxes, removing DEI from schools, freeing political prisoners and protecting constitutional freedoms, among others. Trump even said he would commute the sentence of Ross Ulbricht, who once operated the darknet website Silk Road, to thunderous applause from the “Free Ross” sign-holders in the crowd.

Despite the paid disruptions, the messages were crisply delivered and they are powerful: We want the same things; I respect you; Vote for me, make a difference. Trump clearly knows the currency that appeals to Libertarians. And he was not begging, he was not demanding….he was doing what Trump does best: He was making a deal with them.

The deal is: Vote for Trump and get what Libertarians have wanted desperately for so long: a voice, access and a seat at the table. Trump offered to appoint Libertarians to senior positions and said “my door will be open” to Libertarians when he is President.

And it paid off. A number of the crowd were compelled to listen and cheer for Trump by the end. Many will likely accept Trump’s deal….as they should,

I flew First class from Tampa to Detroit on Thursday 4th April 6 am. My window was duct taped! This is the ultimate duct tape test!! It held! , it was a Boing 757. Perhaps if some parts of Boings planes need duct tape support they should check this tape type around the window
