After 3 years, my SB38 and @EBPforVA’s HB93 are now law. These bills ensure firearms are transferred out of the household after a conviction of assault against a household member. With women 5x more likely to die in DV situations with a firearm, this law will save lives.

Today, I went to Richmond for the Heating and Cooling Building Code Study Group meeting where we discussed how to improve the Building Code to address residents' concerns around heating and cooling requirements. It was a fitting day to discuss air conditioning!
