@Reddit_FCS In terms of chippers, no. In terms of relevancy, no. In terms of State dominance, no. In terms of a rabid fan base, maybe? Over the last 20 years, Montana State Bobcats have won 8 Big Sky titles, while the Montana Grizzlies have 5. Oh, MSU won the Natty.
@Grizzled37@colinblasko Wake up from your hibernation. You've been sleeping since 2001. And once you wake up, you'll realize your dreams haven't come true, you aren't what you used to be.
@mtascension25 @8endo8@killdeercat Ha! You didn't believe me that the Cats were the only team with three at three different levels. Looks like the student has become the teacher!
@8endo8@killdeercat I think that is an important factor. Bobcats have been successful everywhere they have played, winning Championships on three different levels of college football. The Bobcats are THE ONLY team with Natty's in NAIA, DII, and I-AA FCS. Great point!
@jim_epperly@killdeercat They all mattered, for all the players and fans. But they were games where an FBS team played an NAIA team. The Cat wins were incredible, like a Griz win over UW in 2021. The true record is when they played on par. Cats are ahead in that series.
@ASchmidtacular Montana: Won the FCS (Division I-AA) National Championship in 1995 and 2001.
Montana State (4 Titles): Holds titles from 1956, 1976, 1984, and 2025.
When Montana and Montana State have competed in the same conference and division, MSU now hold a narrow 38–37 lead.

HOLY CRAP! The Francis Scott Key Bridge has collapsed after a ship collision in Baltimore. The 1,200 feet (366 m) span bridge was the third longest span of any continuous truss in the world.
