Breaking: Scientists confirm seed oils may cause delusions of grandeur, Jesus complexes, and the sudden urge to blockade entire countries. Study ongoing. 🍟
I was sitting in my truck listening to Tucker Carlson ask the question nobody in Washington wants to answer:
If you can’t criticize a foreign country — then that country is in charge. What other conclusion is there?
if you can’t criticize any government — foreign or domestic — without the word “hate” being attached to your speech by the people in power, then free speech was already gone. We just haven’t admitted it yet.
This is the line.
We don’t get to uncross it after we’ve crossed it.
They can take it all from me.
They will never take my soul.
They can't even touch it.
Sit with that for a second before we go any further. Because everything I'm about to give you starts there.
So here's your gift. From me to you. For my birthday.
Every birthday I can remember, I asked people to donate to someone else instead of bringing me something.
This year is no different. Except I'm not even asking for that.
I'm giving you something instead. Because giving always helped people more than taking.
The number one cause of death in veterinary medicine isn’t cancer. It isn’t organ failure. It isn’t the disease your vet is worried about.
A senior veterinarian told me what it actually is — and then moved on like he hadn’t just said the most important thing I’d ever hear.

A senior veterinarian told me what it actually is — and then moved on like he hadn’t just said the most important thing I’d ever hear.
I remember the words.
“The majority of the time,” he said, almost as an aside, “an animal will improve no matter what you do.”
He paused.
“The number one cause of death is human error.”
George Carlin died on June 22, 2008.
He was 71 years old and still working. Still writing. Still refining material that would have landed like a bomb in the era of mass awakening we’re living through right now.

I sold the car.
Not because I was afraid. But because the fight is bigger than one vehicle, one ticket, one woman on a Sunday morning trying to get somewhere.

That thing in your gut that says something is wrong — before you have the data, before anyone gives you permission to say it out loud.
I trust mine. And I followed it all the way down the rabbit hole.

I’m not a historian.
I didn’t study foreign policy. I don’t have a degree in international relations. I’m a veterinarian from rural Tennessee who grew up poor, asked too many questions, and never once accepted an answer just because someone with authority gave it to me.
But I know how to use my brain. And I know how to use my tools.
And I have something else that doesn’t come from a library or a search engine — a moral clarity that was put in me before I ever picked up a book. That thing that tells you, deep in your gut, when something is wrong. Before you can explain it. Before you have the data to back it up. Before anyone gives you permission to say it out loud.
Most people feel it. Very few trust it.
I trust it.
