Now, I don't know if it was a coincidence, but i find it so neat that Season 11 introduced a concept called 'The Tidal Zone' in the episode "No Pictures Please".

It probably isn't, but it'd be even cooler if it was a tribute to Hillenburg's origins. Still a neat coincidence tho.
