@Ashlly_mols I did not say Christianity is why slavery is considered objectively evil. I said the concept of “objectively evil” cannot exist without a God. And the inspiration behind the Human rights laws were Christian writings
However a lot of people felt slavery was evil outside religion
@Ashlly_mols It’s not the oppressor defining anything 😭. Normal in a societal sense just means a general happening that was common or accepted in society: it doesn’t mean good or bad. A lot of societal norms have been horrible.
