console.log("Hello World Jobs 🌍")

Applying for jobs randomly and hoping for a response is normal.

But guess what? A normal life is boring !!!

Meanwhile, 1,000 other people are applying for that same role, using the same approach.

What if you could flip the script?

That’s what Hello World Jobs is about. Different strategies. Smarter moves. New possibilities.

Because sometimes, getting ahead means doing things differently.

A normal life is boring. 🎭

What is Hello World Jobs?

You know how we just apply randomly for jobs and hope to get responses?

The same thing 1000 other people are doing on the same role?

Hello World flips the script with all amazing strategies.

A normal life is boring ✌🏿

I want to see more Enugu developers share what they're actually building.

Not just certificates.

Show us the app. Show us the bugs. Show us the lessons. Show us what you shipped.

Let people see the work.

GM to those it's Morning for...

I hope you have today planned out ?

Day 3 of revisiting JavaScript

Today, I learned about compilers and interpreters, and how they differ.

A compiler translates code into another form before execution, while an interpreter executes code by processing it at runtime. The exact process depends on the language and its implementation.

JavaScript is commonly described as an interpreted language, although modern JavaScript engines also use techniques like Just-In-Time (JIT) compilation to make code run faster.

Then I came across two modes of working with an interpreter:

1. Interactive mode: You enter code, and the interpreter executes it and returns the result immediately. Think of the JavaScript console in your browser.

2. Script mode: You write your code in a file and run the file as a program.

Same JavaScript, two different ways to run it.

I'm revisiting things I may have used countless times without paying enough attention to how they actually work.

Day 3 done. Back to the basics.

Day 2 of revisiting JavaScript

Today wasn't really about writing code. It was about understanding what happens behind the code we write.

I revisited three terms: LLM, ALL, and HLL.

MLL (Machine-Level Language) is closer to the language a computer's hardware can work with. 0's and 1's

ALL (Assembly Language) uses instructions and mnemonics that are easier for humans to read than raw machine code.

HLL (High-Level Language) is what we use to write code in languages like JavaScript, Python, and C++.

But here's the thing: the processor doesn't directly understand JavaScript the way we write it.

Our code needs to be translated into instructions the computer can execute. Depending on the language and runtime, this can involve a compiler, an interpreter, or both.

I also revisited the microprocessor, an electronic chip that executes instructions and performs calculations. It doesn't decide what to do by itself; it follows instructions.

And finally, three basic terms:

Programming is the process of creating instructions to solve problems.

A program is a set of instructions a computer executes to perform a task.

A programmer is the person who writes, tests, and maintains those instructions.

Sometimes, going back to the basics reminds you that there's a lot happening behind the simple lines of code we write every day.

Day 2 done. Back tomorrow.

An honest question for Enugu techies:

What's the biggest challenge right now?

- Getting a tech job
- Finding clients
- Meeting the right people
- Funding a startup
- Staying consistent

What's yours?
