eCHo in the Bundeshaus! This Wachter, Noémie Guignard, Gérald Wang tried to convince the politicians that a) audio creation is culture, b) audio needs specific funding => c) Audio must be included in the 2025-2028 Cultural message! #LobbyingForAudio#AudioIsArt
We joined forces in 2021 to connect #audiocreators across language regions. We are convinced that #audiocreation should be promoted at national level and belongs in the cultural message! #audioisart
1 million would only be 0.4 percent of what the federal government spends on culture each year. And yet it would be enough to sustainably promote audio creation as a first step. #audioisart
We as eCHo - Network Audio Culture, speak for audio creators in all parts of the country. We believe it is time to finally take audio culture seriously.
That is why we are calling for the federal government to support Swiss audio creation with CHF 1 million per year.
Today's press release: We demand that the federal government support Swiss audio creation with CHF 1 million per year. Why? #Audio is a cultural form in its own right.
Fourteen years ago, @sonOhrFestival started small. Today, it's a vibrant event celebrating the world of listening in Switzerland. Back then, it was niche, but now: #Audio is THE medium of today! Join us at #SONOHR 2024 to connect & exchange ideas✨🤝

2. To what extent does the Federal Council intend to do justice to the importance of audio in the Message on Culture 2025-2028? 3. Where does the Federal Council see opportunities for future funding for audio works?
