@FrozenOnyx The issue is partially the studio, but mostly the owners. If Halo Studios was independent and making AA Halo games I think they would be doing a lot better. Also, the fan base is completely ruined beyond repair.
@GreasyPixel I like it because I use it for everything, not just gaming. And if you have a mid or higher tier PC then you don't have most of those issues.
@SleepySimulacra@lastchalice The issue is that for 343 it has been a labor of love, unfortunately, they're only a small portion of the developers working on the project because of how Microsoft/Xbox manages them. And they've had some bad upper management within the company. But Infinite felt very genuine
Halo Infinite is exactly (more or less) what I wanted for Halo moving forward.
Personal opinions of course, but I’m always surprised by those who didn’t like Halo 4 and 5, who also didn’t like Infinite.
Halo Infinite was the antithesis of 4 and 5. A direct response to the fan base that they were moving back in the direction of those early Bungie titles we loved so much.
Aside from the issues with content not being ready at launch, Halo Infinite is what I (and I thought many others) had been asking for all along.
@AgreeingBook13 I would agree, but also add that the assault rifle and BR sound pathetic, and the flood dies too easily to punches in 3. It's a 7/10 for me. CE is a 9, 2A/2 is a 10.
I miss how Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network only aired commercials aimed at kids. I wish there was an option for that on Hulu and Youtube like please no more insurance or antidepressants please only show me the latest in super soaker technology
Been slowly playing through Campaign Evolved on Heroic (the diff we designed the game for 25 years ago).
Overall, I really love the upgrades - movement, cinematics, visuals - damn the lighting is brilliant.
Do I have gripes? A few, but they are taking a back seat to the fun.
This was honestly just better than the change to deactivate the generator in remake. It played with a game mechanic you used to survive and turned it into a weapon to halt the rings activation. Pretty damn cool
@KingSavageAxe I only like sprint because I like sliding. Halo 4 and Campaign Evolved's sprint are pointless cause they just add speed (or fake speed) the other games with sprint added something besides just sprint. Reach was an optional ability, and in 5 and Infinite it allowed sliding.
@Naded I listen to the most tracks from Halo 3 and Halo CE, so probably one of them. However, my favorite is from in Halo 2, and I have favorites from CE, 2, 3, Reach, 5, and Infinite.
@ClipsKnoight@ChrisPSRewind My point was simply that the cutscenes were created by an animation studio rather than a game studio.
Thank you for adding extra clarification and validity tho.
@CryptumZetaXV 343s betrayal is pretty good, but the rest of this scene is probably my least favorite cuts in the entire game. Cortana's lines were a lot worse and her acting/direction was not nearly as good. Also, 343 sounds a lot more robotic in the original which was a much better choice.
@ivvanex Because 1. Sony had always been a loser company, so I've never bought a PlayStation. And 2. Most of the people supporting the all-digital world that will keep Sony afloat no matter what you do, probably aren't even looking at social media and noticing that it's an issue.
