Dumb af, players already do bi-weekly updates that are usually 5gb+ for Epic's stuff, if 50% plays creator islands, then why are we limited...

Stop capping developers and let us choose whether we want players to spend longer downloading an experience we think is worth their time

Hey @BeastFNCreative we’re really sorry for the confusion here. This wasn’t a test, it was an error in the Creator Portal and has been reverted.

A compact download size means games remain available to as many players as possible – wherever they play. Later this year, we will add the ability to stream large assets (like textures and meshes) to UEFN, increasing what you can fit within the existing headroom.

Whenever Epic finally figures out how to do Fortnite seasons in UEFN after their unrealistic 2025 target, maybe they should try and stick to a 400mb limit and see what they can fit in one singular mode.
