The issue of the generators was never raised again, and of course the IOC never delivered anything.

In the same way, their “solidarity with Ukraine��� turned out to be just as much of a fake as Coventry’s tears.

The IOC leadership is hitting yet another new low with its actions.
The current IOC leadership increasingly looks like yet another Russian asset that is simply working for Russian propaganda.

And all of this is happening against the backdrop of residential buildings being shelled in Ukraine, which literally happens every other day.

A huge number of Russian sports federations continue to operate in the occupied territories, and the IOC completely ignores this.

I hope that the NOCs of other countries will not tolerate this arbitrariness and will finally show a strong stance against these shameful decisions.

Das IOC hat gestern die Suspendierung des Russischen Olympischen Komitees aufgehoben.
Und natürlich werden weder unser Deutscher Olympischer Sportbund noch irgendjemand aus der Politik nur andeuten, Deutschland könne dann eben nicht kommen, wenn das Kriegsverbrecherland Russland 2028 in Los Angeles aufläuft und so tut, als gehöre es zum zivilisierten Teil der Weltbevölkerung.

Es bringt nichts, wenn Europas einziges Ziel beim NATO-Gipfel darin besteht, es Trump recht zu machen. Unser Ziel muss sein, sich auf die reale Bedrohung einzustellen und aus reinem Eigeninteresse den Fähigkeitsaufbau massiv zu beschleunigen. Wir sind hier noch viel zu unambitioniert, statt wirklich glaubwürdig Verantwortung für die eigene Verteidigung und die Abschreckung Russlands zu übernehmen. Nur als starkes Europa sind wir ein attraktiver und auf Augenhöhe agierender Partner für die USA.
