There are people who doubt that Gen Z hates AI? You must really hate common sense.

Imagine growing up in a system that tells you to be good, work hard, and rack on student debt for the gold pot at the end of the rainbow.

Then you get there and see big tech engaged in a ruthless Battle Royale for the pot. It’s mayhem everywhere. GPUs heatsinks are running at max RPM. A lone polar bear is crying. Even Dario himself is begging everyone to shut it down.

Then a LinkedIn premium user walks into the scene, hands you a pamphlet about replacing your team with a prompt, and violently throws a “View My Newsletter” link in your direction.

I don’t know a ton about commencement speeches, but if I was forced to give one today, I’d probably start with an apology.

If Grok (a private model) can have a Freudian slip and identify itself as MechaHitler, then it should be permissible for a government-funded model to not strive for objective purism. IMO this would only warrant condemnation if/when the policy starts dictating how startups and private companies run their shop.
