🧵 Yesterday, we learned that the brilliant Arthur Rank Hospice in South Cambridgeshire is facing a crisis due to a £829,000 funding cut.

The reduction would close 9 of the 23 palliative care beds, representing a massive 40% decrease in capacity.

Thrilled to join healthcare staff and local residents to celebrate the opening of #Ely’s new Community Diagnostic Centre at the Princess of Wales Hospital. This fantastic facility brings essential services, including MRI and CT scans, right to the heart of our community.

Bus routes are the backbone of economic activity in communities across our country - if the Government is serious about growth then it would invest in services which will boost our struggling town centres and high streets.

They must scrap their bus tax from this week's budget.
