2030 PG Payton Griggs is a floor general that brings great things to the table. He has nice size, poise and makes great decisions. Payton knows how to use his size versus smaller defenders and loves playing in the painted area.

This is a Georgia Eclipse Group that has dominated on the Hoopseen stage for the last few years and they started this year off with 6-0 weekend and a championship. This is another young group that’s full with talent that we can look forward to in the peach state. In the championship game Jack Henson and Ben Koblan shined bright as the front court duo anchored the paint on both ends, and had solid scoring outings all weekend. #GACUP1
Georgia Eclipse improved to 2-1 and advanced to the semifinals of the 7th grade bracket. Jason Hendrix delivered another strong performance, scoring 15 points in the win.
Lavorious Cook dropped 17 points in a win for Georgia Eclipse 2030. Coming off a Georgia Cup I championship win, Eclipse 2030 looked locked in with another title on their mind, and they showed it in their win over IDBA SELECT.
Lavorious Cook 2030 was dominant in the paint, consistently scoring inside and making his presence felt. He controlled the boards on both ends of the floor, making it nearly impossible for opponents to match his physicality.

Jason Hendrix 2030 finishes strong at the rim, absorbing contact and still converting. On the defensive end, he’s a standout, using effort and awareness to shut down opponents and make key stops.

Jack Marcengill 2030 played with urgency on the defensive end, constantly pressuring opponents and forcing mistakes. He also showed the ability to get to the basket & score on multiple occasions, making his presence felt on both ends of the floor.

Jason Hendrix had a monstrous game on the big stage for Georgia Eclipse 2030, leading them to the 7th Grade Georgia Cup Championship with a 20-point performance. Andrew Jackson added 10 points to help secure the trophy.
Georgia Eclipse had a great 59–41 win over Team MTXE. Jason Hendricks delivered an impressive performance, attacking the lane and shooting efficiently, leading all scorers with 19 points.
Georgia Eclipse 2030 started off their play at Georgia Cup I with a strong win over Redline Basketball Club. BJ Blackwell did an excellent job controlling the pace for Eclipse and consistently created advantages out of the pick n’ roll. Jack Marcengill added 8 points, in the win.
