@Essexbeano @PetrichorFarms @PegFluff @ZwiggEric Yes, the water is still walnut-shrivellingly nippy. Dipped an exploratory toe yesterday. It does feel as though we can’t be that far off now though. In the archives we have photos from the 1960s of hunting the river when there was snow on the banks!
