@McHeath @KiranSajan2021 @BasGazette Yep. We presented ideas, to the Council and Urban & Civic, on how to make this development world class in terms of minimal environmental impact. The buildings can be carbon negative; all the energy requirements could be met with locally generated cheap, renewable, electricity.

Community ownership of energy assets is going to be a crucial element in delivering a just transition to a zero carbon economy. Hopefully @KerryMP and @LukeMLabour will deliver on it when in power. I've spoken to both. They say they will.
