What can human waste tell us about income, diet and health? This is really interesting... going beyond ‘we are what we eat’ to ‘what we eat depends on where we come from and how much we earn’. #HealthyEating https://t.co/fdF0Z71uLS via @BBC_Worklife
@thichnhathanh I continue to be inspired by Thay Thich Nhat Hang and is commitment to supporting mindfulness, compassion, world peace and #Environmental protection. I learned from him that we can only create peace if we have peace in our hearts.

“There is a 10% chance of a sea level rise of more than 2m by 2100, says global experts. It will exceed 7.5m by 2200, and 97.m by 2300. If 10% of planes crashed you would never fly again.” - Dr. Fletcher, Honolulu Climate Change Commission

Canada to ban single-use plastics as early as 2021 - BBC News. This is a good start, but it won’t solve the problem on its own. We use #plastics in so many ways, we can’t ban them all. So we will need to seriously invest in #recycling & #CircularEconomy https://t.co/YtahA8roz0
@judithed Let’s be real, there are many plastics we can do without, like plastic straws. But we cant ban our way out of the problem. Some plastics save lives... think disposable syringes. We’ll need to invest in a circular economy and recycling if we want to make a difference.
What if one of the biggest things stopping us from saving the ocean was money? What if it didn’t have to be? @nature_org presents 4 innovative solutions.

Happy to hear France, Finland, Spain and others all recognizing that we cannot address the climate crisis unless we also address biodiversity loss. Nature based solutions can provide about 30% of mitigation targets.
