If you lay a sub-base and compact this, sometimes, that base would be very hard and the finished levels may not be that good.

Laying the geotextile and screed layer provides more benefits to the ground.

Similar to other EcoGrid Pavings, EcoGrid #Bloxx System is a permeable paving that strengthens the ground, except the design is a little different.

Instead of small grids, the bloxx comes with bigger spaces to have inserts fitted.

Bloxx inserts: concrete, rubber, and granite.

Stabilise slopes with EcoGrid to prevent erosion. The grids will help retain the stone that sits level or perpendicular to the slope through the individual cells within the grid. Using angular stone infill material can enhance retention.

A single tile of EcoGrid measures 330mm x 330mm. When we deliver the grid to you, they are stacked on a pallet with each layer consisting of 12 tiles, pre-locked together to speed up the installation process.

A nicely done project of pathways in a forest park from our #ApprovedInstallerScheme. Instead of reinforcing the whole area, which would cost a lot more; only the pathway was reinforced with grass-filled EcoGrid.
