Even though I’ve come up with great TikTok organic idea,
Me💀
How can I tell this great idea to UGC creators?
Will they completely understand what I’m telling?
Here’s the exact strategy I would follow to scale a Sportswear brand like @wolaco through ad creatives:
~~
1. Customer Research
After compiling about 50+ reviews from:
- Product Page
- Review Sites
- Reddit
I’ve created the following customer avatar: (steal the format if you like it)
Avatar Name: Marcus Reed
Detailed Demographics:
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Marital Status: Single
Location: Urban city, Chicago
Occupation: Marketing Manager
Income: $75,000 annually
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications
Lifestyle and Behaviors:
Active lifestyle with a passion for running and outdoor activities.
Environmentally conscious and prefers sustainable products.
Tech-savvy and relies on social media and online reviews for purchasing decisions.
Values quality and durability in athletic wear.
Regularly participates in marathons and enjoys competitive running.
Awareness Level:
Product-aware.
Other Solutions Tried:
Has experimented with various brands including Lululemon, Janji, Patagonia, and Rabbit.
Previously purchased running tights based on price and brand reputation.
State Before The Purchase:
Frustrated with the lack of functional pockets in most running tights.
Experienced chafing and discomfort with previous running apparel.
Often struggled with carrying personal items securely during long runs.
Day-to-day After The Purchase:
Experiences increased comfort and convenience with the right running tights.
Feels more confident and equipped during runs, with personal items safely stored.
Enjoys a more focused run without distractions related to apparel.
Fears:
Wasting money on overpriced and underperforming running gear.
The potential embarrassment from wear and tear or poorly fitting running tights in public settings.
Pain Points:
Difficulty in finding running tights that offer the right balance between functionality and comfort.
Apparel that does not hold up in different weather conditions or during intense activity.
Inadequate storage for running essentials like phone, keys, and energy gels.
Consequences of Not Solving Pain Points:
Decrease in performance and enjoyment of running.
Missed training sessions or less effective workouts due to discomfort or inconvenience.
Potential loss of investment in inferior products that don’t meet needs.
Dreams:
To complete a full marathon in a competitive time.
To find a reliable brand of running apparel that he can stick with for all his athletic pursuits.
Desires / Goals:
To improve his personal best running times.
To have a go-to set of running gear that he knows will perform well in any situation.
Interests:
Long-distance running and training for marathons.
Following the latest trends in fitness and athletic wear.
Participating in local running clubs and online running communities.
Being specific is key to resonating with your customer, that’s why this avatar is so detailed.
Instead of “Male 25-40, he runs every day, hates chafing so we're tackling that angle"

2. Concept Brainstorming & Selection
I always start with the awareness level in mind.
In this case, Marcus is Product-Aware.
He knows about the products that can solve his problem but hasn’t truly decided yet or is convinced about a certain one.
For that reason, I’m going to try out the following format for the first script:
problem
agitate
solution
showcase
soft CTA
discredit alternatives
objection
testimonial
authority
social proof
CTA
Here are the highlights of the script:
Problem: Lack of functional pockets
Agitate: Lack of enjoyment while running, having to run with the phone in danger, looking weird, etc (be creative and brainstorm here)
Discredit Alternatives: We bring up the strength of the product where our competition isn’t as strong as us → In this case, pockets.
3. Hook Iterations
For the same script, I would create the following hook iterations:
(Watch how they all target different emotions, situations, and target audiences)
- “Who the hell runs with their phone in their hand?”
- “I’ve just made running enjoyable again!”
- “I had to quit running due to chafing, now I’m back again thanks to this:”
I see so many brands not taking advantage of the hooks they have.
They take a great script but then stick to the same visual for their iterations and tackle the same emotions with a mini-change in each one of them.
This leads to two problems:
1. Your creative tests are inefficient (waste of resources)
2. The data you receive won’t help you understand your customers at all
Our creatives help solve both of those problems.
We’re currently offering a set of creatives where we charge a % of what we generate. (Performance Basis)
