It's official. This is the title of my completely FINISHED PhD thesis. Passed the oral defence with an 'unconditional' & will now print a bound version for the university library. Thrilled to be done with this phase & excited to take it forward (book, articles, teaching, etc.).

@ReReadingWolfe I tend to think it says more about readers as to whether they find Wolfe’s fiction heterodox or orthodox regarding Catholicism. To me, he’s always seemed sincerely orthodox as a person and purely unbounded as an artist (though with clear hopes that his art serves his faith).
